"Elected Unto Suffering" ~ A Study From I Peter
Pastor Dwayne and Pastor Bill will preach from Peter's first letter to Christians. The writer, after being promised a martyr's death, encourages followers of Christ in modern-day Turkey with a paradox of pain: "Rejoice in your sufferings? Take glory in shame!" What kind of man would say these things? It must be a man who struggled with "To save my life is to lost it." What would a fisherman know about "Don't threaten your tormentors?" These are the words of a man who both denied the Lord Jesus and then watched him die for the denier. Audio for these messages is available online.
Family Meal
The church is invited to a meal from 5:00-6:00 pm in the Fellowship Center. Please sign up at the Coffee Shop by 4.00 pm on Monday of each week so that we can accurately prepare.
Cost: $3.00 per person or $12 family (5 or more)

February 22 - BBA Senior Class Fundraiser - to be announced.
