Angela Farmer - Graphics Administrative Assistant

Angela is married to Jackie Farmer, a teacher at BBA, and has two daughters, Breeanna and Bianca. They have been at Berean since January 2002. She works at the church office as part of the Graphics Team and coaches Varsity Cheerleading at the Academy. She was saved when she was 7 years old. She assists her husband as he serves as the Youth Pastor at Union Grove Baptist Church in  Salemburg, NC.

Paula Brutout - Executive Assistant

Paula began attending Berean Baptist Church in November 1990. She has served in various ministries over the years such as nursery and teaching. But her favorite ministry was serving in Youth Group which she was involved in for 10 years. Her love for the youth led her to work at the academy. She was employed for 11 years in multiple positions such as Teacher's aide, Receptionist, Yearbook teacher, and her most recent position as Executive Assistant. She is now employed at Berean Baptist Church as Doctor Wilson's Administrative Assistant and maintains the church calendar. Paula and her wonderful husband Randy have two children, Darrell and Dana, both graduates of Berean Baptist Academy. Randy is a U.S. Army retired Master Sergeant where he served with the 82nd Airborne Division.

Tamie Joiner - Church/School Finance Office

Tamie Joiner has been a member of Berean Baptist Church since 1994. She and her husband Mike have two adult children, Michael and Catherine, who grew up attending Berean Baptist Academy. Tamie began working part time at BBA in the spring of 2001 and in 2002 became the financial secretary. She currently works in the church office as the financial secretary for both BBA and BBC. Ministries Tamie is involved with include church greeter, nusery, and Reformers Unanimous.

Carinda Kerr - Business Manager

Carinda has been a member of Berean since 2007.  She and her husband, Tim, have four children.  She was saved when she was six years old.  Carinda serves the Lord through our Awana program, Childrens Church, and helps her husband as he co-teaches the Conquerors Adult Sunday School Class.  Carinda completed her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Liberty University.  She began working in the Financial Office in December, 2008.  Carinda earned her Masters of Science in Accounting from Liberty University in May, 2009. Her desire is to see that the financial records of the Church and Academy are maintained in an orderly, efficient, and effective manner to the the glory of God.

Dawn Pidkaminy - Church Receptionist

Dawn put her complete faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ in November 1974. The Lord has blessed her with a wonderful Christian husband of  forty-five years, Jim. They have two grown daughters and seven beautiful grandchildren. Dawn and Jim have been members of Berean since the fall of 1993. She began working at Berean in June of 1994. Her responsibilities are as a receptionist and secretary. Dawn serves the Lord in our Awana program, the nursery and in the Crown Sunday School Class. Working at Berean is a real source of joy for Dawn. It is a Christ centered, warm, and friendly environment.

Denise Smith - Financial Secretary

Denise has attended Berean Baptist Church for most of her life.  She is married to her husband, mark and they have three adult children:  Meagan, Shannon and Jared, who are all graduates of Berean Baptist Academy.  They are expecting two grandchildren very soon.  Denise has a Bachelor of Science in Education and taught at BBA for thirteen years.  She serves the Lord through teaching Sunday shool and working in the nursery.  Denise currently works in the Financial Office.
